The Malaysian Agrifood Corporation (MAFC) is a government link corporation set up in 2006 to innovate and chart new dimensions for the Malaysian food supply chain business through the application of new technology, logistic solutions and best practices that also meet international food safety standards.
Under the 9th Malaysia Plan, the Government had envisioned a revitalization of the agriculture sector as a sustainable pillar of economic growth. It is MAFC's aim to help restructure the agricultural sector into a modern, viable and dynamic venture by catalyzing production through the vertical integration of the supply chain involving production, packaging, branding and distribution of agricultural products.
